Hi Aleksandra.
Your resume is already in very good shape. I work in water resources/environmental engineering and found it very easy to read, and very well formatted. All of my comments for you are very small, and for the most part, would consider completely optional.
Great job! Please find your resume reviewed and attached with comments which I will also paste below.
-if you wanted to keep your contact info to one line, you could probably get rid of "http://www." since most people know how to search for someone on LinkedIn. However this certainly isn't a big deal.
-I think this summary is absolutely great. This is not a recommendation to change it at all, but just another way to think about how you want to present yourself.
"Committed Environmental Engineering graduate student with a background in Mechanical Engineering"
This presents your Environmental degree first. If your mechanical background had any focus on an environmental emphasis, you could add more, such as the following:
"Committed Environmental Engineering graduate student with a background in Mechanical Engineering and an emphasis on development of green technologies" (this is just an example).
- SWMM, not SWIMM (I work with it all the time so it caught my eye)
- This is another personal preference. Consider moving your education below Work History. I would still leave it above Conferences. It just helps to separate all work topics from all academic topics. Again, its up to you though.
- small comment - I don't think you need spaces between the dash (-) and the words on each side. If you have a reason for it that I am not aware, by all means keep it the way it is.
I hope these comments provided some new perspective on what is already a very strong resume.
-Chris
