Matthew Jacobson, PE, ENV SP, M.ASCE is a Civil Engineer at Kimley-Horn with experience in active transportation, multimodal design, and mobility projects across Southern California. He has supported and led the planning, outreach, and design of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects for a wide variety of clients, including private developers and public agencies at the state, local, and federal levels.
During his undergraduate journey, he was a part of the inaugural ASCE National Student Ambassador Program, Chaired the ASCE Student Presidential Group (SPG), and was named one of ten 2020 ASCE New Faces of Civil Engineering - Collegiate Edition. He also served as the CPP ASCE President, leading the student chapter to receive the 2021 ASCE Region 9 Distinguished Student Chapter Award.
He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California. Matthew is involved locally with ASCE LA YMF, ASCE LA Branch and serves nationally on the ASCE Committee on Younger Members and ASCE Committee on Governing Documents.
