Visitor Parking at GMU Fairfax Campus:
- All visitors to the Fairfax Campus are strongly encouraged to park in the Visitor Parking areas located in Mason Pond, Shenandoah, or the Rappahannock Parking Decks at the prevailing rates.
· Virtual permits can be purchased in advance through My Parking Portal. Please note that you will need to create a visitor account.”

· Walking path and suggestion
o Shenandoah Deck is in square T-8. The Engineering Building is in square T-9 on the (Parking Map PDF).
o The shortest path is shown in the snippet given below; follow red color line, exit Shenandoah Deck (orange and purple color polygon #44, marked in blue outline) through the Level 1 sidewalk, cross York River Rd at the pedestrian crosswalk, take the sidewalk along Research Hall (black polygon #51), and then take the small staircase to the Engineering Building (black polygon #38, marked in blue outline).
