    Nice to see lot of nice questions from ASCE student members. I hope that the colleges can start student chapters in engineering colleges to enable them conduct technical programs. Experts from India and abroad can be called to participate in program. They will be able to answer many questions and also provide guidance to members.

    Dear Divyansh:
    You question prompted me to look up Google for "Porous asphalt pavement".  There is plenty of information on the web.  One such reference is http://www.asphaltroads.org/assets/_control/content/files/PorousBrochureWeb%5B1%5D.pdf.  I have attached a copy.   Such pavements are used for draining off storm water.
