This is in continuation of the earlier emails regarding CISSC 2025 in Feb 7-9'2025.  I wish to share the following updates:

Notice Cum Agenda of AGM 2024

Date: 5^th Sept. 2024

Dear All ASCE-IS Members,

Sub: AGM on 18^th Oct. 2024 at Mumbai.

Greetings!                                                                                  

World of Concrete (WOC) exhibition is being organized at Mumbai from 16^th-18^th Oct. 2024 with ASCE-IS as Associate Partner. World of Concrete India 2024 is a dynamic hub, bringing together over 300 exhibitors and 12,000+ trade visitors, policymakers, decision-makers, influencers, and technical experts from around the globe. The event will showcase the latest products, technologies, and innovations in the concrete and masonry sector, with a strong focus on sustainability. As the Indian edition of the renowned World of Concrete Las Vegas, the event is dedicated to the construction and infrastructure sector, with a strong emphasis on sustainable and innovative solutions in concrete and masonry. An annual general meeting of ASCE-IS 2024 is called as follows:

Date: 18-10-2024

Time: 1100 hr onwards. (Approximately for 1.5 hrs)

Venue: Board Room, Hall no. 4, Goregaon Exhibition Centre, Goregaon East, Mumbai.

Agenda:

-        Approval of minutes of meeting of last AGM 28-9-2023 and BOD meetings.

-        All matters related to administrative issues.

-        All issues related to accounts.

·       Non submission of previous years account statements of IS by previous officers

·       Non submission of previous years account statements of IS regions (Only those regions using IS PAN card) by previous officers of the regions.

·       Approval of IS accounts 2023-24

·       All other issues connected with accounts.

·       Appointment of auditors for ASCE-IS for 2024-25

·       Update on working group of ASCE-IS

• Student Chapter Activities:

- All Student Chapters of ASCE-IS to submit their annual report via email to ASCE-IS President at [email protected] with a CC to Secretary at [email protected],  by 1400 hrs on 2-10-2024 with all details. The report shall be submitted only in the required format as attached. The board reserve rights to include the report/s in the AGM.

- All student Chapters are encouraged to make a 3-5 minutes presentation during the meeting regarding the annual report.

· Future activities. All members are encouraged to come forward with activities. ASCE-IS board would be happy to give all assistance.

· All are request to kindly send any additional agendas to be included in the meeting by 02-10-2023 by 1800 hr. via email at [email protected].

· Any other agenda with the permission of chair.

All are requested to be present 30 minutes before time, please. Tea-Coffee would be served at the venue at start. Kindly contact Er. Neha at 78388 63297between 6-8 pm, for any clarifications.
