According to USGS (https://hvo.wr.usgs.gov/volcanowatch/archive/2007/07_02_15.html), volcanoes contribute about 200 million tons of CO2 annually, while global fossil fuel emissions for 2003 produced 26.8 billion tons of CO2, so volcanoes contribute less than 1% of annual CO2. There may be chemical reactions ...
