I need to move 100 million tons per year of salt to a disposal site 45 miles away. Liquid CO2 viscosity is a fraction of the viscosity of water so am looking at liquid CO2 as the transport medium. A related question. I am designing two 102" pipelines that will exchange water into a canal that is about 250' above and 8 miles from the bottom of the hill. One pipe will pump 300 cfs of desalinated water uphill while the other pipeline will convey 300 cfs of brackish water downhill for processing. ...
