Keep the faith!!  Five Years without an enjoyable job (matching your credentials) is difficult!!  I am glad that you are networking!!  Your resume needs to be restructured (at least the first third) as I felt desperation while reading through the text.  Five Year Gap due to COVID is NO EXCUSE!!  Think of something that you did and post the activity.  Look back at your diary....  Or, have someone remind you of your accomplishments.  I am most certain that you can make the first third more robust and hard hitting!!  IE Step off with a running start and reflect a positive / proactive spirit.  Delete all <<negative>> aspects!!  Additionally, list three professional references.  Lastly, practice interviewing before the professional company invite arrives!!  Perhaps when you least expect?!  Although NOT a head hunter, I will keep you within my thoughts going forward.  I do have some influence and I think that you simply need to keep fighting the uphill battle until a break-through arrives.  It will arrive!!  Trust me!!
