Algorithm for Optimization Design of Structures.
The following observations were found, which could be relevant to the algorithm processing,
1. Preliminary selection process (sub-structure and superstructure).
2. Computer modelling for geometrical size of structural members and material strength (ed, E, G, etc.)
3. Seismic modeling and foundation analysis.
4. Design factor of safety, structural stability and geometrical configuration.
5. Linear analysis (stress, strain, and tolerable deformation) according to ACI.
6. Evaluation of forces in structural members and permissible forces.
7. Permissible displacement/actions.
8. Non-linear static analysis for stable structure.
9. Design review and result/re-evaluation or redesign for satisfactory performance.
