Title of the Presentation: Stephanie Street Reclaimed Waterline Improvement Project

Lance M. Olson, PE, WRS, was named the City’s Director of Public Works in October 2022. He is responsible for maintaining the City’s infrastructure, City municipal facilities, public rights-of-way, and the operations and maintenance of City streets, storm drains, traffic signals, and City vehicles.

Lance began his career with the City as a Project Engineer II in Public Works and later transferred to Quality Control, where he managed public and private construction in the City.  In 2020, he was promoted to Assistant Director of Public Works, overseeing the City’s Fleet and Facilities division. 

Steven Conner is a graduate of UNLV with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering and a licensed Professional Engineer with the State of Nevada.  Steven is the City Engineer for the City of Henderson and has been with the City for 5 years and in the industry over 20 years.

In this role, Steven oversees the Engineering, Flood Control, Development Services, Traffic Engineering and Construction within the Public Works Department.  In Steve’s free time, he loves to golf, travel and coach his daughter’s soccer team.
