Come along with your family and enjoy a wonderful evening floating down the river at Las Colonias Park in Grand Junction, CO., this coming July 11th at 5:30 PM. We will have the opportunity to spend time with our families and ASCE colleagues and friends while enjoying the river. We will meet at the Boat Ramp and float down the river and share refreshments. We will coordinate vehicle relocation at the event. Please bring life jackets and sunscreen, and don't forget to BYOB or other favorite drinks.
There are two ways you can enjoy the evening with us; for those who enjoy rafting/boating, we have prepared Option 1, and for those who prefer spending time at the beach, Option 2.
Option 1 involves going down the river in a raft or boat from Las Colonias Boat Ramp to Redlands Parkway Boat Ramp. We will eat, drink, and spend time together on the vessel while building friendships. The approximate duration of the adventure is 1.5 hours. The capacity is limited to 30 people, so please sign up quickly.
Option 2 involves floating on your own floaties from the boat ramp to the beach area (10-15 min), enjoying the beach, or repeating the adventure. Refreshments will be shared at the beginning of the activity.
In any case, fun is guaranteed!
