Join us for this month’s luncheon featuring a special presentation by the Clark County Water Reclamation District (CCWRD):
Septic System Elimination and Sewer Connection Program: Planning, Funding, and Implementation

Clark County’s Septic System Conversion Program, funded with $15 million in ARPA funds, offers free sewer connections to properties currently septic systems. This effort improves public health, protects groundwater, and supports long-term infrastructure sustainability. The program focuses on areas near existing sewer mains and is a collaboration between SNWA, CCWRD, and local agencies. To date, more than 120 properties have been converted, but progress is challenged by low homeowner awareness and regulatory delays. Looking ahead, the program aims to expand outreach, speed up permitting, and increase coordination to ensure more communities benefit from reliable, modern wastewater systems.
