Description:
The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is constructing a new I-15 Interchange at 1600 S /2700 N and widening the road from Main Street in Spanish Fork to State Route 51 (SR-51) in Springville. Construction is anticipated to be completed by late 2026 and will include: New I-15 interchange, Road widened to two lanes in both directions from Main Street in Spanish Fork to SR-51 in Springville, Shared-use path on the north side of the widened road, Bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad UPRR Sharp Line, Upgraded at-grade crossing at the Tintic Railroad, Noise wall from approximately 1120 W to 950 W, Utility relocations east of the UPRR Tintic Line, Renaming of 1600 S / 2700 N to Dry Creek Parkway

Trevor Youd has spent the last 17 years working as a consultant at Horrocks. He has worked closely with UDOT on numerous projects and has helped them develop safe, cost-effective solutions to Keep Utah Moving. On the Springville/Spanish Fork Interchange project Trevor served as the Roadway Design Lead to support the environmental document's development; the Design Manager for the final design of the first two construction phases; and the consultant Project Manager for the final design of the third construction phase. All-in Trevor has spent nearly seven years supporting the region with this effort. He is grateful for the opportunity and feels lucky to have worked closely with so many individuals to provide this benefit to the Springville and Spanish Fork Communities.
Eric Rasband has been playing this game for the past 34 years. He has been with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) for the past 23 years. Before Eric's experience with UDOT he spent some time working for local governments. His work experience spans maintenance, construction, design, planning and now project management.
