Professor Paul Giroux, Dist.M.ASCE, NAC from Purdue University will give our featured presentation focusing on the timeless lessons learned from the builders of past "Great Projects" across the globe. From his distinguished perspective a veteran builder and award-winning civil engineering historian, Prof. Giroux will share his unique perspective of projects like the Brooklyn Bridge, the Hoover Dam, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Panama Canal, with a focus on their builders. Paul will also share what he’s learned about great builders throughout his 45-year career with the Kiewit Companies. Indeed, there are timeless lessons from the Great Builders.
During the event we will also be honoring our esteemed 2025-2026 ASCE Life Members by recognizing their dedication and contributions to our society. Additionally, we will install and swear in our next Board of Directors.
