Modeling Service Life for Long-Term Performance:
A Collaborative Discussion
Presented by
Travis Green and Rob Cole
Join us for the ASCE NCS November Section Meeting, where we’ll explore how service life modeling informs the design, maintenance and long-term performance of our region’s critical infrastructure. Experts from WJE will present practical approaches to service life assessment and deterioration modeling, followed by a panel discussion featuring representatives from Arlington County and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA). Together, the presenters and panelists will share perspectives from both the consultant and facility owner sides, highlighting how data-driven service life modeling supports asset management, capital planning, and durability decisions across diverse infrastructure systems.
