Identifying and Nominating your Historic Landmark Webinar

When:  Mar 12, 2026 from 05:30 PM to 06:15 PM (ET)

On behalf of the Committee on Geographic Units, I am pleased to invite you to participate in our 2026 Spring Webinar on “Identifying and Nominating your Historic Civil Engineering Landmark.”

Do you have civil engineering infrastructure in your local area that you consider worthy of recognition as an ASCE National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark? If so, the content of this webinar, presented by ASCE’s History and Heritage Committee, will guide you through the nomination process. We will start by exploring the critical question: Does this potential historic landmark deserve to be recognized? We will explain the preparation and submission of the nomination document, illustrating the process with recent case studies.
