Speaker: Gregory Coren, P.E. | Quonset Development Corporation’s (QDC’s) Manager of Engineering

Topic: Infrastructure at Quonset

The Quonset Business Park is a major driver of economic growth and job creation in Rhode Island. This 3,200 +/- acre multi-modal business park relies on world-class infrastructure and facilities management to attract and retain industry leading businesses. Mr. Coren will discuss how focusing on constructing and maintaining the Business Park’s infrastructure is one of the keys to its success.

Bio: As Manager of Engineering, Mr. Coren is responsible for planning, administering, and managing infrastructure improvements throughout the Quonset Business Park (QBP), including the Port of Davisville. This includes identifying and assessing the infrastructure needs of the QBP, assigning internal and external resources to address those needs, and managing the design and construction process to implement the projects. His duties also include supporting the QDC’s Department of Public Works, and assisting other staff with grant applications, day-to-day operations, and general engineering.
