David Swallow, P.E., Deputy Chief Executive Officer, RTC Southern NV

Title of the Presentation: RTC ongoing projects

David Swallow is Deputy CEO for the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, serving the Las Vegas metropolitan area and surrounding communities. In this role, Swallow oversees the planning, engineering, and funding programs for the region’s transportation infrastructure, development of new transit facilities and systems, operation of the public bike share system, implementation and support of new technologies and coordination of roadway and freeway operations through the region’s traffic management center.  

Swallow is a licensed professional engineer with more than 26 years of transportation-related experience. He earned a bachelor’s degree in science and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
