Region Idea Exchange

When:  Mar 26, 2019 from 06:00 PM to 07:00 PM (ET)

The Leader Training Committee is sponsoring a 30-minute opportunity to share ideas, discuss concerns, and learn from other Region’s efforts.  Please consider participating in this interactive and informative conversation. Potential topics include:

 

  • Region Governor Talking Points (Do you use them? Are they helpful?)
  • Region communications (How do you keep in touch with your Sections & Branches?)
  • Student interaction (What role does the Region play?) What involvement does your Region have with State Report Card releases?
  • Does the Region support State government relations activities for the sections?
  • Collaboration with the Institutes (Do you collaborate at the Region level?)
  • Struggling Sections/Branches/Student groups (Have you had to deal with any?)
  • Region recognition (Does your Region have a formal awards program?)
  • DREAM BIG (The DVDs for the schools were just released. Are any of your Regions assisting Sections/Branches with local events?)

 

  • Other topics (please include with your registration request below)

Do any of these issues sound familiar?  Do you have a success story that might help out another Region?  Have you missed opportunities to meet other Region leaders at ASCE conferences?  If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then please join us for an opportunity to share ideas with other Regions from around the country.
