Fall 2023 Highway Cleanup

When:  Oct 7, 2023 from 08:40 AM to 11:45 AM (PT)
Associated with  Inland Empire Section
  • Bags, safety vests, long-handled pickers, & safety equipment will be provided
  • Bring gloves, water, and wear long pants & thick-soled boots or shoes
  • Children of ASCE members 15 and older can participate with their parent
  • Need up to 12 volunteers
  • WSDOT limits to 3 vehicles on the highway shoulders, so we will carpool from Denny’s parking lot
  • Need up to 2 volunteers to help with carpooling – preferably pickup trucks or vehicles that can drive off-road

Note: The event will be canceled in the event of EXTREME weather.

Participant sign-in and safety meeting at 8:45 am in Denny’s parking lot (3711 S Geiger Blvd, Spokane, WA 99224)

Litter pickup from 9 – 11am followed by meal at Denny’s courtesy of the Section

Register by Friday, October 6, 2023 at noon.
