ASCE New Orleans Branch July Luncheon 2026

Our next luncheon will be held on Wednesday, July 22 at Southport Hall (200 Monticello Ave New Orleans, LA 70121). Please note that the event is from 11:30 am -1:00 pm with networking from 11:30 am -12:00 pm followed by a presentation from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm.
Registration for this luncheon will close on COB Tuesday, June 16. No in-person registrations will be allowed, and walk-ins will not be accepted. Payment is accepted through the registration portal at the link below.
Our speakers will be Mr. Archie Chaisson to provide an update on OLHC’s programs and projects
Mr. Chaisson was appointed Executive Director of the Office of Louisiana Highway Construction on July 16, 2025 by Governer Jeff Landry.
Archie was elected as the 9th Lafourche Parish President and took office on January 1, 2020, and was reelected unopposed to his second term in 2024. Prior to his election Archie served in various executive roles in government including the Public Works Director for the City of Thibodaux and as the Parish Administrator for Lafourche Parish Government where he led the parish restoration efforts in the aftermath of the BP Oil Spill.
In addition to serving as the Parish President, Archie also served as the President of Parish’s Advocating for Coastal Endurance, also known as PACE, which is made up of the 20 coastal parishes in Louisiana. Archie also served on the national level as Chairman of both NACo’s Environment, Energy and Land Use Committee and Chairman of the Gulf States Counties and Parishes Caucus.
Archie obtained his CFM in 2017 and has supervised and acted as the Floodplain Manager for both the City of Thibodaux and Lafourche Parish.
A certificate for 1.0 PDH will be provided at this luncheon.
