Lost River Caverns Tour & Social

The Lehigh Valley Section Younger Member Forum invites you to a guided tour of Lost River Caverns in Hellertown, PA. The tour will begin at 5:00 PM and last approximately 30-45 minutes. This cavern is a natural limestone cavern complete with an underground river. The temperature is approximately 52 degrees Fahrenheit inside the cavern, so please dress accordingly. The guided tour will offer insight to the geology of the cave and its formation, as well as the history of the property and surrounding community. A social will take place after the tour at Lost Tavern Brewing in Hellertown, PA. You are welcome to join us for the tour and social--or for one or the other.

This event is $15.00 for all Lehigh Valley ASCE Section members and includes the tour and food. Students are free! The tour of Lost River Caverns is capped at 20 people!

Please register by Monday, May 18th at noon and indicate which portions of the event you will participate in.

SCHEDULE:

For Tour - Meet at 4:50 PM at Lost River Caverns (726 Durham St, Hellertown, PA 18055)

For Social - Meet at 6:00 PM at Lost Tavern Brewing (782 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055)

Please carpool if possible, since parking is limited at Lost River Caverns and Lost Tavern Brewing.
