Hello!
Texas is in the final steps of formally creating a TxAEI Community (under the umbrella of ASCE Texas Section) along with an AEI Dallas chapter (under the guidance of ASCE Dallas Chapter).
As both progress, I'd like to poll this community chat on great events (social, professional, etc.) that could serve us well in early outreach and growth!
One particular event I recall hearing about was I believe from Washing DC, where a walking social included discussions about surrounding buildings (as discussed by attending members on the design team of said buildings). I would love to hear more specific details about this type of event and others, so that we may replicate the successes that were seen at other chapters!
