  • 1.  Insurance Recommendations

    What kind of insurance do I need?  I'm starting a PLLC to do engineering consulting for residential construction.  I've been told to get "errors and omissions" insurance.  Is that all, or do I need some other kind of professional insurance?  Anyone have a company they trust and use?

    Hi Kenneth,

    I recently went through the same process.  For Errors/Omissions insurance (Professional Liability) I tried quite a few options but only really had success in getting a quote/policy when I went through ASCE (https://asceinsurance.com/Business/Professional-Liability-Insurance).  My policy is with Pearl Insurance through ASCE.  Best of luck with the new business!
