  • 1.  Help with the FE/PE Exam Process

    Posted 08-09-2023 10:41 AM

I am reaching out to see if any peers in Colorado have any advice on how to navigate through the FE/PE exam process when NCEES and the State Board will not communicate with me? I initially reached out to NCEES; however, they will never coordinate a phone call meeting to discuss details and their final emails to me essentially told me I would never be an engineer. The state board seemed helpful at first but has gone radio silent with their last correspondence telling me that my NCEES profile claims I am trying to waive the exams. According to NCEES I can't register for the FE exam unless the State grants me permission so I have been stuck wondering how to proceed for the last month with no response to emails or phone calls.

Hey John! I may need more information to be able to help. I have dealt with my fair share of issues with state licensing boards and NCEES problems over the years. Are you wanting to take the FE exam with qualifying experience or do you have the 4 year engineering degree?
