Lamar University is volunteering to distribute school supplies to surrounding school districts as they become available to open up in the next week or so. If your department, chapter or college can provide, then please do. Let me know so I can have our ASCE Chapter thank you all.
We all know typical items needed from K through 12. If the outside of a box can name the items packed, this will facilitate distribution. Also some schools were flooded and teachers lost all their supplies, gift cards to Office Depot or a similar store would help with that.
And the Lamar Dean of Education will coordinate their distribution. Please send items to:
