The SDSU Chapter of Engineers Without Borders will be having a fundraiser at Wooden Legs Brewery in Brookings from 5:30 to 10 pm on Friday, April 29th.
They are raising money for 3 trips to Bolivia planned for this summer. EWB is a great way for engineering students to get involved in a real-world project and learn about engineering in a global context. They would greatly appreciate your support at this event! Everyone (including those under 21) is welcome. If you are not able to attend, but would still like to support the Student Chapter consider donating online through the SDSU Foundation or by mailing a check to the SDSU Civil Department. Reminder: The Student Chapter Spring Social is Wednesday, April 27th. We'll be meeting at Hillcrest Park in Brookings between 5:15 and 7:30 pm for yard games and food (provided). All Branch members are welcome and encouraged to attend! We will also be using this opportunity to wish our graduating seniors a sendoff and invitation to join us in the Eastern Branch. Members are encouraged to answer any questions they have about entering the workforce, offer resumes and interview tips, and participate in casual conversation.
