The Transportation & Development Institute (T&DI) of ASCE is seeking members for the ASCE 58 Standards Committee to oversee the revision of ASCE/T&DI Structural Design of Interlocking Concrete Pavement for Municipal Streets and Roadways:
The chair for this committee is David Hein, P.Eng., M.ASCE.
Following the publication of ASCE/T&DI Structural Design of Interlocking Concrete Pavement for Municipal Streets and Roadways, the committee is reconstituting its roster to begin work on the next edition. ASCE/T&DI/58 is now accepting new members for the next edition of the standard. Applications are being accepted until February 13, 2025.
Practicing engineers, researchers, building officials, contractors and construction product representatives are all needed and welcome. Younger professionals are also highly encouraged to join. Specific roles allow them to serve practical purposes on the committee regardless of experience level while also providing them opportunities to network with more experienced members.
ASCE fosters an inclusive environment for all committee members, valuing their unique strengths, perspectives, and experiences. We encourage all eligible candidates, including those who have been historically marginalized, protected veterans, women, and individuals with disabilities, to apply.
