How do we involve industry in research? Come and listen to PIs and Industry Members on the formulation of a Research Center with Industry Partners which is supported by NSF. The theme of the Center is Wind Hazard and Infrastructure Performance (WHIP) with research supported by industry members. Understand the needs of the industry and why they are interested in the research. Also, understand why faculty is willing to pursue applied research.
