I've gotten two emails from recruiters that stood out recently. I'll share them below.
Email number 1
"Christopher - This is where I would typically put a funny sentence that would grab your attention and engage you in conversation around the job I had previously emailed you about. The thing is, you probably noticed that the last message I sent you was using email automation software. I went back and looked through your profile on LinkedIn and really think that we could help move you forward in your career, so this is me reaching out to you directly because I think you'd be a great fit!"
IE " I spammed a lot of people before, but I PROMISE this next email is totally personal"
Email number 2
"Good morning Christopher,
To be frank, a client of mine has asked me to reach out to you. I believe you may know them and I appreciate you aren't actively looking, but clearly your reputation precedes you so I wanted to know what it would take to interest you in a new role?"
This email was sent at 5 AM and I am also of the opinion that it is not honest. Anyone who knows me would reach out to me directly if they thought I was interested in a job.
Emails like this greatly reduce my level of interest in working with a recruiter.

Subject: Funniest or Weirdest "PERFECT JOB" Offers or Emails
A recruiter reaches out to you with a job that is a "perfect fit with someone of your expertise" so you sigh and open the email reluctantly wondering what job could be so perfect. To your lack of surprise, the job has no relation to engineering or even the construction industry at all!
I'm sure you've experienced something similar where a recruiter reaches out with a "perfect" job offer only to be way off base. Sometimes the email may even have your name in the body to prove its authenticity and how it's specific to you!
I was wondering if we can start a lighthearted thread about the weirdest job offers/emails you've received.
