  • Section Awards and Student Awards are now accepting applications/nominations

    ASCE Pittsburgh recognizes projects, people, and employers for their achievements and contributions to the Section and the civil engineering practice. These awards are given annually during Engineers Week to celebrate and raise public awareness about civil engineering and the contributions that civil engineers make to our society. Help us honor civil engineers and showcase the work they do by nominating now! Awardees will be honored during the 2022 Engineers’ Week Awards Banquet (in-person) on February 19, 2022. Nominations are due to Awards Committee chair Dr. Sam Shamsi, P.E. ([email protected]) by Wednesday, December 15, 2021.

    The ASCE Pittsburgh Section’s Student Awards Foundation presents cash awards to students each year for the American Bridge Leadership Award, Italo V. (Ody) Mackin Achievement Award, and ASCE Achievement Awards. These awards recognize outstanding civil engineering students preparing to be future leaders of the profession. Applications for the 2021-2022 SAF awards are Due January 10th. Hard copy and electronic submissions accepted.
