ASCE India Section, Northern Region Branch, in association with SGL Gujrat successfully organized webinar titled "Role of Geospatial Technology" on 3rd October 2020.
Dr. H.S. Gusain (Scientist - DRDO Chandigarh) inaugurated the workshop and congratulated the ASCE India Section, Northern Region Branch for organizing workshop on Geospatial technologies which is regarded as the backbone of Smart City initiatives. The main highlight of the event is that the five educational institutes (Punjab Engineering College, UPES Dehradoon, Galgotias University Greater Noida, MIET Jammu and DAVIET Jalandhar) also collaborated for the same. The event was attended by approximate 125 participants. During this event, applications of geospatial technology in Urban planning, Hydrology, Land Use Land cover were discussed.
