About: The lecture will be about an earth-core rockfill dam in Colombia. During construction, unknown reasons caused the blockage of the river´s diversion system. As a result, the water started filling the reservoir before the dam was completed. The presentation will explain how the emergency was overcome and the dam construction was finished safely.
