We are devastated to hear about the loss of life, homes, and infrastructure that the recent earthquake caused your country. We are deeply saddened to see such widespread suffering and damage.
On behalf of our 150,000 members around the world, the American Society of Civil Engineers extends our deepest sympathies to the victims, their families, and all who are affected by the disaster. Our heartfelt thoughts are with the many who are suffering at this time.
We know that the people in Turkey are strong and resilient and that over time they will overcome this disaster.
We trust that as you focus all your efforts on rebuilding that you will find comfort in the support from your friends and allies around the world. On behalf of ASCE, we offer our support as you begin this rebuilding process.
