CSCE is reaching out to its members who aren't already a member of one of the ASCE Institutes or Technical Groups to remind them that membership in one of ASCE's Institutes or Technical Groups is included in your ASCE Membership. These Institutes and Technical Groups bring together volunteers from similar engineering disciplines to network and coordinate conferences, workshops, peer-reviewed journals, books, manuals of practice, seminars, webinars, and consensus standards. CSCE currently has state chapters in ASCE's Construction Institute, Environmental & Water Resources Institute, Geo-Institute, Structural Engineering and Transportation & Development Institute (T&DI) | ASCE that coordinate topics for dinner meetings and professional development events in Connecticut, but there are many more Institutes and Technical Groups to choose to join including:
