Hello everyone, in the recent days I have been working in liquefaction evaluation from CPT test. I found a difficulty computing the In-Situ stresses, I tried to follow the Robertson and Fear (1997) and there are no clear explanations about how get the unit soil weight from CPT test. There are papers, after 1997, where they explain how compute it. I wonder how accurate is infer the unit soil weight from CPT if we try to check the Robertson methodology.
