Starting off in the Engineering Industry
Like
As a student who is eager to learn as much as possible and can’t wait to start his career, I’m trying to find the best way to start out my career in Engineering. I have quite a bit of construction experience having worked with my father at a young age and theoughout high school. After that I joined the navy where I was fortunate enough to work on bigger project and even be project manager and supervisor on my important ones. Obviously changing over to the Engineering side of things is going to require some effort which is fine. The problem I’m currently having is while being a full time student I’m having a hard time finding internships in my area to help me improve and learn the industry while still being able to go to school. I am extremely interested in Civil and Structural Engineering. What is the best way to go about start my young career?
