Mr. Barry Cole, A.M.ASCE





Bio

Barry Cole is a LSSBB with 40+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in engineering, design, research & development (R&D), manufacturing, O&M, evaluation, project management and program implementation from concept development through decommissioning. With extensive experience in systems lifecycle management, he has participated in, developed and lead numerous major first-of-a-kind projects including: submarines, surface combatants and logistics support ships for the US Navy; mini-van and cab-forward automobiles for Chrysler; laser welding and fiber-optic lighting; and low-cost, high efficiency heat exchangers and power plant designs for commercialization of OTEC. For 33-years he supported US Navy shipbuilding and IT programs (achieved Level 3 Acquisition Professional certification) for which he was awarded two AEGIS Excellence Awards and the US Navy Meritorious Civilian Service medal.  Key traits include:
