I am a Professional Civil Engineer and Associate Professor. I have worked in academia and in consulting, with projects throughout the U.S. and abroad. This experience gives me a unique perspective on the needs of environmental and water resources professionals in diverse forms of practice, such as education, research institutions, firms, industry, government, and non-profit organizations. My involvement in ASCE-EWRI since 2000 has included being a member of the Governing Board (2015-2019), chairing the Sustainability Committee and the International Council; co-chairing the Visiting International Fellowship Committee; contributing to the 2014 report Pathogens in Urban Stormwater Systems; moderating, planning, and presenting at sessions at the annual Congresses; participating in leadership Council Weekends; co-teaching a short course, and serving as associate editor of the Journal of Water Resources Planning and Management.
