Cidney Jones is an enthusiastic civil engineer with a focus on river ecosystems. She has worked on design of stream/wetland restoration and mitigation in Maryland, developed a framework for assessing damage and risk to urban streams, and performed hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for floodplain determination and canal operations. An army wife, she has experience studying streams in a variety of climates and using her experience to address the challenges facing natural channels in urban environments.
