Gergino is a Young and passionate Environmental Engineer and Scientist interested in Research for Development in order to promote sustainable development with focus on Groundwater and Environmental Geomechanics. He is currently undertaking his PhD studies on the vulnerability of coastal cities and mangroves to the combined effects of Land subsidence and relative sea-level rise, at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, University of Padova, Italy
