I am currently a master's student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University (will graduate in December 2020). I did my Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering from Kathmandu University, Nepal. After graduating from Kathmandu University in 2017, I started working as a full-time Environmental Engineer at SmartPaani Private Limited (consulting firm).
At Carnegie Mellon University, I have taken courses on water/wastewater treatment, water resources, remediation engineering, risk assessment, data analytics, and programming that have enabled me to understand these topics in more depth.
With my previous experiences in technical and non-technical challenges, I would be a rare individual to improve Engineering Company corporate diversity. Having significant experience in both industry and academia, I will be well-positioned to bridge the divide between basic research and commercialization and collaborate well with the team.
