Bio

I’m a water resources Professional Engineer with 6 years of experience in Hydrology, 1D and 2D Hydraulic Modeling, Roadway Hydraulics, Flood Mapping, and Stream Stability Countermeasures. I have worked on various design projects including Lagoon Slope Stabilization, Dam Breach Analysis, and Parking Lot Design. I have also received my Certified Floodplain Manager accreditation and am a member of the Association of State Floodplain Managers.

In the community I served as President of the Jackson Area Alumnae Panhellenic Association and delegate to this association on behalf of the Zeta Tau Alpha Jackson Metro Alumni Chapter. My last position was with ZTA was VP1 in charge of programming for the alumni chapter. In this role I focused on planning events and coordinating diverse programming. Additionally I served as the President of the Jackson Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers. I have also helped to start a local non-profit, Friends of Mississippi River Basin Model, to save a local landmark and spread awareness of our historic preservation efforts. Our goal is to re-imagine this landmark by increasing recreational access and promote STEM education.

I work well collaborating with others and am a self-motivated hard worker who enjoys learning and taking on new challenges. I pride myself on being punctual and efficient with assigned tasks.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from Mississippi State University in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
