Engineer-in-Training (EIT) in Benesch's Railroad Division, focused on the structural design, inspection, and maintenance of railway and bridge infrastructure. My work ensures transportation systems remain safe, efficient, and reliable.
At Benesch, we are dedicated to creating spaces, providing connections, and improving infrastructure. As a Designer I in the Railroad Division, I contribute to this mission by applying rigorous AREMA and FRA standards to detailed bridge inspections, submittal reviews, and construction documentation—ensuring full regulatory compliance and structural reliability through every project phase.
I’m particularly interested in alternate delivery methods and how emerging AI and digital tools can streamline engineering workflows and decision-making. Leveraging platforms such as Bentley MicroStation, ProjectWise, and Microsoft Tools, I look for ways to integrate data management, visualization, and predictive insights that improve efficiency and add value for our clients.
I hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Universidad Panamericana and am pursuing my M.S. in Structural Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My goal is to keep advancing the technical and digital capabilities of our field—combining engineering fundamentals with innovation to build infrastructure that lasts.
