Mr. Singer is a Geotechnical Senior Project Manager at Langan. He has worked on projects for private developers, architects, contractors, and public agencies (SCA, NYCHA, DDC, EDC to note a few) in the greater New York City area. His projects range from high profile billion-dollar developments to small additions. He has also provided geotechnical design work to flood resiliency projects around New York City.
Mr. Singer has experience in design, review, and inspection of foundations, ground improvement, excavation support and underpinning, construction monitoring, waterproofing, bulkheads, seepage barriers, geotechnical construction administration, and preparing technical reports. He emphasizes the importance of working with the owner, architect, contractors, and other consultants to determine effective and economical geotechnical solutions for each project.
Mr. Singer serves as Vice President for the ASCE Metropolitan Section and he is chair of the Met Section Community Outreach Committee. He has been involved with coordinating networking, mentoring, community and student outreach, and technical events. Involvement and contribution to other societies include Geo-Institute, Deep Foundations Institute, and the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitats. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
