Does anyone remember Google Glass? I can think of a few other pieces of technology that showed potential merits over the last decade or so, but didn't seem to catch on in a mainstream way. Some of these include:
·A keyboard that was projected onto any surface that it was placed on.
· Another projector, this one that displayed gridlines to help people walking or cycling at night to see changes in elevation.
· A camera and screen placed over the "A" pillar in a car to project the view that was obstructed by the pillar.
Can you think of any other pieces of technology that "didn't quite make it"?
