One thing to remember about global temperature is that there is really only one source that does not have fingers adjusting the data. That is the satellite data. Good points Sarah. After all, sustainability is what we're after, right? The greater land percentage in the northern hemisphere reflects more heat into the atmosphere, whereas the greater ocean area down south soaks up more.
