The Metropolitan Section Chapter of ASCE's Coasts, Oceans, Ports & Rivers Institute (COPRI) organizes technical field trips, lectures, and seminars to allow the metropolitan community to communicate on marine-related issues. The group provides an exchange of ideas on relevant topics, exposes members to projects of educational value, and allows engineers to expand their knowledge and experience in marine engineering and engineering projects located in coastal and waterfront areas.

Subject: COASTAL HIGHWAYS TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURAL DESIGNS
I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE THIS TOPIC OF THE DISCUSSION, MORE PARTICULARY,ON THE DESIGNS CODES I THINK THAT ARE APPLICABLE TO COASTAL METHODES OF CONSTRUCTION OF COASTAL HIGHWAYS AND ROADS, BECAUSE WHAT WE NEED TO LOOK AT FIRST, COAST OCEANS SOMETIMES MAY EXPERIENCE OCCURANCE OF NATURAL EVENTS SUCH AS TONARDO WIND LOADS, IN OTHER WORDS THE DESIGNS OF ROBUSTNESS STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING STRENGTH, MATERIAL USEFULNESS APPLICABLE TO WITH STAND TORNADO WIND LOADS, MAY BE FAVOURABLE FOR APPROVAL IN LINE WITH THE CONSTRUCTION CODES OF THE SPECIFICATIONS.
