Sustainability and Resilience

A committee of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM), in collaboration with the Network for Engineering with Nature (N-EWN), will convene a national Forum focused on nature-based solutions (NbS) as innovative and sustainable strategies to reduce risks such as flooding, coastal erosion, and extreme weather, while enhancing biodiversity, ecosystem functions, or community well-being. 10-12 March 2026

Good question, Anna. E-EWN is usually very much practice-oriented, so I expect this forum will be practical.

Thank you for sharing this information. The National Forum on Nature-based Solutions sounds like a very timely and important initiative.
