FY2026 Region 8 Committees

Awards Oceana Francis Oversees Region 8 award nominations and judging of winners.
Communications Jamestaun Kraupp Oversees the Region 8 newsletter, website, and social media accounts.
Conferences & Meetings Lauren Nuxoll Plans and runs Region Fall and Winer Assembly Meetings, including logistics, programming, and coordination with Sections.
Finance Jose Aguilar Supports the Treasurer in managing the Region’s finances

Larry Hanson		 Supports Sections with advocacy, public policy efforts, and infrastructure report cards.
Nominations Jaffer Almosawy Oversees the nominations process for governors/directors, including applications, interviews and placement on the ballot.
Region By-Laws Review Lauren Nuxoll One-year committee that reviews the Region’s welcome packet and bylaws, recommending updates as needed.

Western Canada Outreach Jose Aguilar Builds connections with Western Canada sections and members.
